About Me
My name is Shreya Sharma
Hello! I'm Shreya Sharma, and I am a motivated aspiring doctor who is passionate about human biology and making change. My journey in understanding the human body and my drive to make a real difference have led me to create Shreyas Healing Hub.
Having to stay in a hospital can often feel very lonely, especially when separated from school and friends. This is why I'm deeply committed to connecting children within the hospital environment through engaging activities like playing music, offering lessons, and even organizing talent shows when possible.
This initiative is a reflection of my commitment to combining my understanding of human biology with a heartfelt desire to improve the lives of children facing cancer.
My goal is to make children suffering from cancer feel less isolated and more connected to a supportive community.

Mission
Uplift the lives of children bravely navigating cancer treatment
My heartfelt mission is to be a source of genuine comfort and connection for children undergoing cancer treatment. Through the thoughtful application of music and creative therapies, I strive to gently improve their quality of life, transforming hospital environments into places where they can express themselves freely, discover joy, and feel truly part of a caring community.
Shreya's Leadership

My leadership journey has consistently focused on building community, increasing accessibility, and making a tangible difference in people's lives.
These experiences have directly shaped the vision for Shreyas Healing Hub.

Why Teens Need to Help Children with Cancer?
As teens, we have a special chance to bring comfort and real change to their lives.
Here's why reaching out truly matters:

Foster a sense of normalcy
Engaging in play, music, or art with teens helps children feel like "regular kids" again, shifting their focus from illness to enjoyable activities.

Combat loneliness and isolation
Many children miss their friends and normal school life. You help create a peer-like connection and a sense of normalcy, making the hospital feel less daunting.

Be a source of connection
For children feeling isolated in the hospital, your presence offers companionship and reminds them they are not alone.
